We ran into an exception when trying to save a content type with a field collection.

Running under the debugger, we could see that $this->hostEntityId would be set to false when calling fetchHostDetails() and wouldn't get a chance to set the value because it returned false from this condition:
if (!isset($this->hostEntityId))

We have added a patch to address this issue.

P.s. Just one detail to use boolean (TRUE|FALSE) with uppercase.
