Doronro commentedHi,
Any updates on this?
Just to clarify the details again. Posting in forums, I receive email notifications, as expected.
However if I send a private message I don't receive any such notification. even though I use the "send yourself a copy" option.
I'm not even sure the messages has been sent, or if they have been received by the person I'm contacting..
And yes, I have checked my spam folder..
Can you help?
Regards,
d

avpadernoAbout contacting users, I cannot reproduce it.
As moderator, I sometimes send a message to a user, and a copy to myself. I always get my copy.

to test this i sent you a message, and a copy to myself.
waited half an hour.
i didn't receive an email., nor anything from you.
can you check: did you receive any private message from me?
avpaderno@Doronro Yes, I received the email.
I will try sending an email from the Contact tab, and see if I receive my copy.
avpadernoI can confirm: Contacting users from their profile, I get my copy of the message, when I select the Send yourself a copy checkbox.

Doronro commentedhmm strange. i received your email, but no copy when i sent a message.
a mystery.

gisleLike kiamlaluno, I am also unable to reproduce this.
I don't think there is anything the webmasters can do with this. If the issue persists, try to file a bug report in the Drupal.org Infrastructure issue queue.
