Exposed numeric/date views filters with multiple elements now have a wrapper, update form structure

Before

In the past, when numeric and date filters that require multiple form elements were exposed in views (e.g. because the operator is exposed, or the operator is Between or Not between and need both Min and Max input elements), the field label was missing and other labels and elements were not placed in a logical order. There was also no containing span to group the operator and input field(s), which resulted in a bad UI.

After

Now, exposed numeric and date filters with either exposed operators or a fixed operator that requires multiple form elements (Between and Not between) are wrapped in a container. The wrapper element is named by the field identifier, suffixed by _wrapper. The container will be labeled with the field's label (previously missing)

Instructions to update your code

Before:

$form[$field_identifier]['min']['#date_time_element'] = 'none';
$form[$field_identifier]['max']['#date_time_element'] = 'none';

After:

$form[$field_identifier . '_wrapper'][$field_identifier]['min']['#date_time_element'] = 'none';
$form[$field_identifier . '_wrapper'][$field_identifier]['max']['#date_time_element'] = 'none';

Note: This is only necessary if the exposed filter requires multiple form elements:

• The operator is exposed
• The fixed operator is Between or Not between
