I agree with this. I would even argue to disable on admin pages by default.

See patch #4 which allows to exclude (or include) the Adobe DTM scripts based on configurable paths.
Similar configuration like showing blocks on certain pages.
Update hook available for older versions of the module.
On new install, a basic set of paths will be the default configuration (and configured so that they will be excluded).
