I've had TinyMCE running for quite a while. This problem may have appeared when I upgraded to 5.x-1.9 a couple of weeks ago, or possibly on upgrading to Drupal 5.9 or upgrading TinyMCE to 3.0.1, I'm not sure. But now whenever I make changes to a profile, nothing changes for the users. Everyone seems to be getting the default buttons, regardless of the settings I pick in the configuration screen.
In MySQL, the "default" profile looks like this:
a:36:{s:8:"old_name";s:7:"default";s:4:"name";s:7:"default";s:4:"rids";a:1:{i:2;s:1:"2";}s:7:"default";s:4:"true";s:11:"user_choose";s:4:"true";s:11:"show_toggle";s:4:"true";s:5:"theme";s:8:"advanced";s:8:"language";s:2:"en";s:14:"safari_message";s:5:"false";s:6:"access";s:1:"1";s:12:"access_pages";s:25:"node/*

The database entry seems correct based on the options I picked on the profile configuration form, but what's actually displaying to the user is still the default form, which should only be appearing for "authorized" users not in another role. I've tried clearing the cache, restarting the browser, and switching to a different machine. Then I tried uninstalling and re-installing the module (and discovered that the "uninstall" feature doesn't seem to want to work). Just now I tried removing TinyMCE 3.0.1, putting 2.1 back in, and clearing cache again. Still the same buttons.
Any suggestions?

emdalton commentedFurther update: If I edit the "default" profile, it changes every other role to the new default values right away. This gives me a workaround, but it's still a bug.
