I'm surprised we don't have an issue for this already, but I couldn't find one, so here is it.
The only actual problem I saw (apart from lots of warnings due to the PHPUnit upgrade) was a count() in \Drupal\search_api\Processor\FieldsProcessorPluginBase::processConditions() which can have a non-array argument.
