Hi,
We've seen this issue too when experimenting with bigpipe. As you can see on our roadmap we're going to spend some time to implement Bigpipe very soon. During this time we'll solve issue's like these too. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I'm marking this as active. Also with 8.5.1 the issue still seems to be there and there is still a lot of discussion going on in the original issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/736066 let's wait for a solution in there.
