Hi, I am going crazy here: I manage to update this site from 5.2 to 6.3, I manage to fix all obvious errors and the site looks functional.
I have 2 languages, language A and language B. However, if I add an article in language A, under admin section in language A, the taxonomy menu in language B is missing. If I delete the article, I have the menu on both sides. If instead on deleting the article I go to Taxonomy Menu Plus Settings, check the tree check boxes, press submit, then uncheck them and press submit button, I have again the menu on both languages. [same goes if I do this for language B].
I run drupal 3/ i18n beta2, last taxonomy menu module.
I made some changes to the taxonomy menu module [as it was not displaying the submenu items and the correct links] and in line 264 of i18n.module [as per http://drupal.org/node/259722]
I don't have any errors whatsoever ... does this sounds as an i18n issue or taxonomy menu issue? I think it should be related to i18, since the language in witch you add the article still has the tax menu ...
Thanks a bunch!!!!

No idea, you tell me.
I don't understand this at all, please provide more information about the settings and the type of vocabulary you're working with and/or some screenshots.
(Also please realize that I'm just this module's maintainer, no idea about taxonomy menu)

madrock9 commentedAfter some more digging, I believe the problem is the multilingual taxonomy part of i18n.
If I disable multilingual taxonomy, add an article [node] in language A, choose vocabulary in language A and set up the language as A, the menu does not disappear in language B [or A for that matter], the path is correct and everything is fine, the article is shown under the correct language etc.
In drupal 5.8, under Categories, I used to have all the vocabulary terms in language A if I were on the admin section in language A [A/admin/content/taxonomy], and all the terms in language B if I were on B/admin/content/taxonomy.
Now, on drupal 6.3 + i18n beta 3, it doesn't matter if I am under language A or B, I have all the terms, in both languages, mixed up:
item1 in language A
item1 translated in language B
item2 in language A
item1 translated in language B
I realize there were major changes between 5.8 and 6.3, but still, logically would be to have the same type of behavior, under language A to see the vocabularies in language A only, right? I hope I was a bit more coherent this time.
Thanks

madrock9 commentedI fixed, finally. It had to do with the taxonomy menu module, not i18n ...

pyqlo commentedHi madrock9,
I've the same problem here - when i add or change a node in one language, the taxonomy menu of the other language disapears.... I searched for hours and tear my hairs, but I've no idea, where to start for a solution.
Could you please give me a hint - how did you fix it?
Thanks!!
