- Where the module has to be put: is it ok in /sites/all/modules?
- In readme.txt you write: ''Configure user permissions in administer >> Access control >''
Access control is a module of D5, isn't it? Is this step necessary? Can I configure the module only by the 'Switchtheme configuration' tab?
- In the Permission's page two options are given for the Switchtheme module (for auth. and anonym users): administer switch and switch theme; and above there is also the System module's 'select different theme' box.
Which box(es) must be selected?
1) Is covered in point 3. Upload the folder of the common installation instructions for all modules: http://drupal.org/node/70151 (as pointed to in the README)
2) "Access control" is called "Permissions" in Drupal 6. Just a different title. I've committed a fix for this.
3) I don't know exactly either, so please test and report back your findings. Basically, SwitchTheme should work without the "select different theme" permission - however, without that permission, Drupal will not automatically display the theme a user selected in a previous session and just display the default theme. If you enable the system permission, registered users will be able to configure a theme in their user account settings. Let me know what you find out and what needs to be clarified in the readme, please.
4) Don't know either, because I didn't use Switchtheme with front_page yet. So, please report back your findings.
I have no more problem with this module. I solved the issue simply publishing all on the web.
The problem was just on my local web server, due to mis-configuration of Apache, I guess...
Thanks a lot for the module and sorry for the time you've spent trying to give me the right answers.

Hi folks,
I just installed 6.x-1.0. It works fine when I am logged in but once I an logged out, the block is visible but the selection is not working. It stays with the default theme. Here is a link to my side: http://helitown.com/info/
Is there anything I have to do or any hints?
Thanks all.

sun6.x-1.0 should contain all necessary fixes to make SwitchTheme work for anonymous users. You can download that release from the project page.
