Splashify was just what I needed, but I already had a colorbox slideshow on the site with very specific theming and I wanted to apply a few theming changes just to the splashify modals.
Here is a patch that allows for setting a class on the #colorbox and #cboxOverlay divs, it adds a textfield on the "how" tab.

I extended this a bit more as I needed to set a maxWidth and maxHeight, I created a 'colorbox settings' fieldset and added the class, maxWidth, and maxHeight.
I also added an 'advanced' fieldset and a textarea to add any additional settings for colorbox, there are so many possible settings I can't imagine having form fields for each one so I figured this was a good compromise.
