I am the maintainer of the guide https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/install. I recently wanted to revert a page in that guide to an earlier version, and found that I did not have permission to do so. Can I get that permission? I think the role I would need is "webmaster".

The required permission is revert revisions. I cannot say to which roles the permission is assigned, but the webmaster role is probably not the one assigned for just allowing to revert revisions.

I cannot say what role has what permission, but I can confirm that I now see the "Revert" links on https://www.drupal.org/node/2799489/revisions.
