Do you plan to finish the Drupal 5 version of this module? It seems like development is only going on for the Drupal 6 version. I'm trying to make a decision on which module to use and this will help a lot.

I'm definitely putting all my efforts into the D6 version. I cannot guarantee you any development for D5.
I would recommend you using the D6 version, it's already pretty stable. Concerning the D5 version, it does work, but some problems might occur (especially with the 'saving as tag' option).

Cleanup of old issues. According to maintainer: "active development is only done for the 6.x branch! 5.x is not supported any more".
Open a new issue if problem still exist.
