Why this module requires the latest dev release of Drupal Commerce. Why can't we use version range of 2.x?

Actually I am having problem to use this module in an existing site. It already uses 8.x-2.0-beta7, and it conflicts with the exact version requirement of Drupal Commerce in this module.
