I get in the same error related on issue https://www.drupal.org/node/2834358

The patches attached on this issue seems to work for me, but there is some line differences between the patch and the current module version.

I updated the path with the correct lines.

As others indicate in the referenced issue (#2834358-11: "Uninitialized string offset: 0 in conditional_fields_evaluate_dependency()" when saving node form with conditional fields applied), the patch needs committing. Re-opening this issue. Thanks!
