pathauto module to create URL alias automatically is not working for all content types, only for membership
even though there's a provided Pattern:

group/[group_content:group:id]/[group_content:pretty-path-key]/[group_content:id]

what i have in the list is only:
/group/1/member/1 /group/1/content/1
/group/1/member/2 /group/1/content/2
/group/1/member/3 /group/1/content/3
and so on

but not for Articles, Basic Page, etc

any idea why?

That pathauto pattern is for the GroupContent entity, one of which exists for each ContentEntity added. But it doesn’t create a pattern for the node entity itself - you need to add one for that if you want one.

Yes, what I meant was pathauto didn't create url alias for Articles, Basic Pages that are already put in the group (related entities), but somehow it does make pattern for group members (users that are related to the group).

So do I still have to do it manually for articles & basic pages in the group?
if Yes, would you have examples how to do it....

How would I create a nice path for the following situation:

I have a group-type called 'game'. Each game would have the path: /game/<mario>

I want to have a path for the related artice, like: /game/<mario>/articles/<node-title-url>

Is this possible?

Check out the patch in:

It exposes a token for the Group in the Content Pathauto pattern.

This is a pretty old issue, but I think this could be closed as a duplicate of #2774827
