Wouldn't it be better to add more fleixble options to show X terms starting from the term or the root and skip Y?

Someone started something similar here #2220941: Select specific term depth that would be a huge flexibility benefit to the module and more Drupal way then implementing every possible combination in code...?

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
