Hi all,

Instead of uploading a file to my Drupal site can I use a link field ie linking to an mp3 file hosted elsewhere? If not is there any plan to support this?

Currently this module only works as a file formatter rather than a link formatter, but there's no reason we couldn't make this work as a link formatter as well. Marking as needs work for now but will start work on this and update the issue as things progress. Thanks for the suggestion
