Kyle - I think this will be a great set of modules. Just wanted you to know that I, as a novice linux user, have spent 2.5 days trying to install the older version of Numeric unsuccessfully and can no longer afford time to work on getting on of the prerequisite linux packages to work this running.

I hope to back to it when it either no longer requires the older version of Numeric which I can not find in rpm, or I hire a linux guy to figure out how to install it. (I have spent most of the time trying different way with help from forums who are al a loss on my CENTOS5 machine as well.

I tell you this because there will be others who are linux novices or know nothing about it and want to use it but will likely, like me, be unable to because of the prerequisites.

Good luck.

Hi there webdev2.

I answered your CentOS 5 Linux question in the other issue you posted:

http://drupal.org/node/285854

There you will find step-by-step instructions for the Python packages on CentOS 5 (For all you RedHat Enterprise Linux users, it's the same thing).

Related, as a heads up for anybody else, I've written some documentation with step-by-step instructions for installing the Python requirements for memetracker on Ubuntu Linux here:
