With the latest dev I am seeing an error when adding my field collection to a view:

Undefined index: translate in /var/www/html/mysite/sites/all/modules/contrib/field_collection/field_collection.module on line 818

Here is a patch that fixes the issue, just add the patch and flush the class registry.
