Due to divergence of features in RC2 and HEAD we will need to make changes to the release cycle and this is a heads up guide for those changes. The reason for this is to preserve functionality for RC2 users going forward as upgrading can be difficult.

The gist: if you're on rc2 stay on the 8.x-1.0 branch. If you've been using 8.x-1.0-dev and keeping up (either downloading it recently or using Git and keeping up with changes) then move to using the newer 8.x-2.x branch.

Therefor:

  • Themes generated from a recent 8.x-1.x-dev (or if you have git cloned branch 8.x-1.x) upgrade to 8.x-2.x
  • Those generated from 8.x-1.0-rc2 should move to using 8.x-1.0-rc3

AT Tools / AT Genarator

These modules will follow the same scheme as above for Adaptivetheme. Match the version of AT Tools to the version of Adaptivetheme you are using.

If you get information different from this from Drupal Status Updates please ignore it!
