Please consider this as a call for help on feedback. I need helpful eagle eyes who can spot things I am not aware of before releasing the next full version.

Current 7.x-2.0 version has a few major issues

If you are testing the update, to have a smooth update, check out things below

  • Slick library must be updated to Slick 1.6.+, else broken slick dots.
  • If you customized either theme_slick_image_lazy(), or template slick-media.tpl.php, merge it into theme_slick_image().
  • If using a sub-module like Slick Views, be sure to also pick up the DEV version. Other sub-modules, like Slick Extras/ Example are ignoreable as they are compatible with latest Slick, AFAIK.
  • Regenerate CSS and JS assets.
  • Clear cache and run /update.php to clear things up.

  • about your update issues,
  • or a confirmation that the update goes well is also very much appreciated.

If we can identify, iron out, and fix potential issues from your feedback, hopefully soon we can release the new Slick version.

I tested updating an old production site from early ALPHA to latest DEV, and had no real issues, as long as I followed the recommendations in the summary above. Also updated BETAs to latest without apparent issues.

If anyone experiences issues I am not aware of during updates between minor versions, feel free to share so that we can iron out potential issues before the next release. Thanks.

I updated from 7.x-2.0+30-dev to 7.x-2.0+32-dev.
No issue to report.

I asked because I missed things during Beta1 to Beta2 updates.

I've tested the latest 7.x-2.x-dev and do not have any issues on any of my sites (30+ with Slick).

Tested on a local site which plans to go live soon. Slick 7.x-2.x-dev works smoothly for me.

Tested latest dev (1c4619ca0783d854a6fd4ce3fc4d16cfe8fec06e) against the slick library 1.7.0, don't see any issue.
