My apologies to the users of this module (and potential users if it was ported to D8). I don't work with Drupal or PHP at work anymore and I am unlikely to anytime in the future. Until I can somehow figure out how to integrate Drupal into my wife, kids, house, cars, or physical activities I just don't have any time to contribute.
Thanks for the memories, all the best, and happy Drupaling!!!

savel commentedHello!
Maybe I could maintain this module? I've never maintaned any project on Drupal.org, but I guess it's much better than nothing.

batkorSAVEL hi
How are you? Do you have improvements, if so, can you share a link to the repository for collaborative development?
savel commentedHello!
I'am only able to support D7 version for now because most of my projects uses Drupal 7. I'am planning to rewrite this module for Drupal 8 on July. I hope to make it during the first half of the month.

tepelena commentedIs there any update on this module?
We also need to be able to add a trailing slash to URL, especially taxonomy term.

in my organization we've already develop this functionality and we'll contact with akaoni to start mantaining D8 branch at least.
now we can add a slash only where we want (routing, views, taxonomy terms, nodes...)

batkormgzrobles, Nice!
Akaoni commented@mgzrobles: As mentioned above, SAVEL is now the maintainer of this project.
Given he hasn't responded however, I've added you as another maintainer - please discuss any plans you have with him.
