Is there any way of allowing for an end user to create a droplet for their MySite page using Google Gadgets or WidgetBox? Seems that create droplet is only available as part of administrative functions. Has anyone figured out how to give end users this ability as well?

agentrickardNo. We never got past the potential security issues.
You can't let general users add HTML or JS to pages, since they can inject all kinds of attacks. You would need a filter that only allows certain types of content entry and then validates that entry.

I'm really liking WidgetBox and just thought it would be great if users could select the widgets they want to add to their MySite themselves. I'll just have to pick the ones I'd like for them to choose from and create droplets for them. Thanks for the quick response.
