There is an error using Entity connect and BEAN. Embedding an Entity Reference in a content type shows an error when creating the node. When the "Edit content" button in the embedded form is clicked, it shows these issues:

  • Notice: Undefined variable: content in entityconnect_entityconnect_edit_info() (line 321 of /var/www/html/sites/all/modules/entityconnect/includes/entityconnect.menu.inc).
  • Notice: Undefined index: label in theme_entityconnect_entity_add_list() (line 50 of /var/www/html/sites/all/modules/entityconnect/includes/entityconnect.pages.inc).
  • Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in theme_entityconnect_entity_add_list() (line 52 of /var/www/html/sites/all/modules/entityconnect/includes/entityconnect.pages.inc).

This patch solves the issues.

I was having almost the exact same error after updating to 7.x-2.0-rc1. ( I'm being pressured to update to the new version to get the cache management features. The cache table in production is pushing 4GB which caught the attention of the DBA )

I am using entityconnect_eck rather than the 'bean' submodule, but it appears to be the same issue. I can confirm that this patch solves it.

Let me take the opportunity to thank you for such a useful module, it allows our teams to be much more efficient. We appreciate all the work and maintenance you're putting in. Thanks!

Re-rolled the patch in the original post by removing the extra paths, so the patch can be applied by automated systems.
