I have @4000 members to import with various membership plans and expiration dates. I know there is bulk update for adding and deleting memberships which I can use to add the membership plans after import. But I don't see any way to bulk update expiration dates. Has anyone had to do this and, if so, how did you import the expiration dates?

I'm wondering if I will need to create some temporary memberships that will expire each month and import my members in batches into those temporary memberships so they expire at the correct times? Any other ideas?

For anyone with similar requirements who finds this issue, I ended up creating a generic membership to use temporarily for importing the 4000+ members with the expiration dates that were current at the time of import. Once those temporary memberships expired, the members were were able to purchase their first real membership type. This system has been in place for almost two years now and most members have moved to the new system. All seems to be working well.
