I am currently using this with a single taxonomy vocabulary.

Is there a way to control the filters so that users can only select one at a time? I don't need any overlap, so I'm wondering if that is a setting somewhere or a views thing that I am missing.

I've implemented the required functionality.
It will be added in a new release of the module.
Also, you can apply the attached patch to your module version.
