Frequently asked questions (FAQ) for RNG.

Fields

RNG adds fields to your event types. The list of fields are:

• Registration type — Select which registration types are valid for this event.
• Registration groups — New registrations will be added to these groups.
• Accept new registrations — Whether to accept new registrations.
• Maximum registrations — Maximum amount of registrations for this event.
• Reply-to e-mail address — E-mail address that appears as reply-to when emails are sent from this event. Leave empty to use site default.
• Allow duplicate registrants — Allows a registrant to create more than one registration for this event.
• Minimum registrants (>=1.3) — Minimum number of registrants per registration.
• Maximum registrants (>=1.3) — Maximum number of registrants per registration.

How can I add missing RNG fields

RNG 1.3 introduces an interface to add missing or deleted RNG fields. You can find it in your event type settings page: Home » Administration » Structure » Event types » Event Type. Edit tab, Field Mapping sub tab.

My event type is missing a 'minimum registrants' and 'maximum registrants' fields

RNG 1.3 introduces both 'minimum registrants' and 'maximum registrants' fields. Sites upgrading from RNG 1.2 do not automatically add these fields. To add these fields, see section How can I add missing RNG fields. Installs originating from 1.3 and later automatically get these fields. Operation of RNG does not rely on the existence of these fields, they can be removed safely. RNG will assume the following values if the fields are missing:

• Missing 'minimum registrants' field: registrations require at least one registrant.
• Missing 'maximum registrants' field: registrations can have unlimited registrants.

Nobody can register
