When a form in the settings tray uses vertical tabs the settings tray is too narrow to accommodate the two column structure so the tabs break. They also do not match the style of the rest of the tray.

Proposed resolution

Re-style the vertical tabs so they fit the pace better and match the tray background.

  1. #2784495: Normalize block place and outside-in experiences is not yet in, so marking as postponed per #4.
  2. The patch no longer applies (neither one from #4).
  3. Regardless of either of those points: where in core can I see this in action? Or is this hardening for other use cases? I suspect that's the case,
    so marking as a feature request.
