This would be a great feature. Although, cache clears in Drupal 8 are expensive and a large production site could be crashed by a hidden cache clear. So, it would be great if we could figure out the cache tags syntax to make this work.

Adding
$breadcrumb->addCacheableDependency($this->config);
in EasyBreadcrumbBuilder::build() might does the trick.
