Hi All,

This might be a bug, assuming at moment I am doing something wrong. Basically same as issue #2646990 but with newer version. The issue:

  • I edit an entity when I save the updated entity I am returned to the form where I clicked edit. (Correct)
  • I add an entity when I save the new entity I am sent to the view of the new entity's instead of the form where I clicked the button on. (wrong)

Have used this before, and not noticed any issues. Don't see what the issue is at the moment but not had too much of a dig around.

Have tried current version 7.x-1.x-dev and that works perfect. So either a bug in 2.x or something else I am doing.

Does the entity you are 'creating' by reference have a file field on it? If so I think this might be a duplicate of: #2850489: Not returning to referencing form when form contains ajax file upload field

Hi,

Afraid I no longer have that test site, I did what I needed another way. As soon as I get chance I will recreate what I did and test the patch.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
