this bug is fixed in D6, but until then, it'd be nice to up the comments per page variable, so we don't have to click on this, scroll down 200 posts, click the pager, work out which one we read last. Or manually append ?page=1 to the url.
There's not that many posts with > 200 comments, and it's not likely to be much of a performance hit compared to just about anything else on the site, so pretty, pretty please. Otherwise I'm worried D7 will ship without PDO.

Crell commentedI have a feeling we'll hit 300 comments in that issue soon enough anyway. :-) I'm very tempted to start a new issue to continue it, just for simplicity. I defer to the webmasters for how they want to handle it, but we do need to be able to handle crazy-long threads in a sane fashion.

catchkilles has upped it to 300 already. I offered to write a patch for drupalorg.module to up it to 500. This'll do us a couple of weeks though.
I'd also be very much in favour of a follow-up thread for database TNG (one of us could lock the original issue and edit the first post to reflect this). I'll refrain from making any quips about what such a thread might be called ;)
