When I'm editing an entity browser, I can set an option 'Auto open entity browser'.

And when I choose an entity browser as a field's form widget, I can set an option 'Show widget details as open by default'.

What's the difference between these? They sound like they're the same thing.

Auto open will open entity browser by default. There will be no need to click on "Select entities" link.

Configuration in field widget will expand details element that wraps the field widget by default.

Would be nice to add descriptions to the checkbooks in Ui.

The 'auto open' part can be covered by #2808735: make 'Link text' option conditional on auto-open; change auto-open to radios.
