Drupal 8 Port - get up and running on 8.x-1.x

If I get chance at DrupalCon in Dublin, I'd like to do a port there. It shouldn't be too difficult, tbh

Are there still plans for this? I have a need for this on a project in the near future, and will be happy to help out with a D8 port if one doesn't already exist, but didn't want to duplicate effort :)

Oh I'm so sorry! I was planing to do this in Dublin and then was asked to get involved as a Sprint Lead at the event - it took about 110% of my time!

I've attached archive with module for D8 and I will glad to get co-maintainer access for supporting branch for D8.

I think what we should do is commit this to get the dev branch up and running and then have a couple of follow up issues to get a release out. I would really love to see some tests to show it does actually add the live chat functionality etc etc.

Edit: livechat appears to have been bought out, so relevant accounts for me need upgrading. Looking for open source alternative.
