Here's how to reproduce what I think is a bug:

1) Go to the page that edits any existing node that has an Entity Reference field that has an "Edit" link.

2) Go to the Entity Reference field and choose another node to reference.

Shouldn't the "Edit" link now be changed to the newly referenced node?
