New Installation v. 8.1.5 via Softaculous into subfolder: Drupal home page: Page Not Found

The rest of the site access seems fine so far. I can login, etc.

The root cause was having special characters in Site Name field in Softaculous. To accomplish having special characters ultimately in Site Name, add AFTER the software is installed. Add via Configuration -> Base site settings.
