Tushar has done some great work in the project applications queue and we mentored him to find security issues and help applicants in general, see https://groups.drupal.org/node/509961

I met him in person at Drupalcon Asia and he is a good fit for dealing with new contributors. He has learnt the project application process fast and I'm confident about his Drupal skills. The next logical step is to grant him the git administrator role, so that he can perform the task of promoting people to git vetted users.

I have looked at many of Tushar's reviews, and think he has the skills and knowledge necessary needed to review applications, while also mentoring new applicants in the Drupal way of doing things. I have had him do followup reviews to my own to see if he found the same security issues, which he has.

Having another resource available for the PAR process will help with the backlog.

What is the process to set up 2FA in this case?

i think you need to remove the role again, then tushar sets up 2fa, then you add the role back. Correct?
