This isn't a big deal, but after trying to migrate a Drupal 6.38 website to Drupal 8.1.0, the Default Time Zone keeps getting set back to "Europe/London". I only noticed this because I'm working on a migration late at night in the United States, and the Recent Log Messages show the entries as being for tomorrow morning.

It's easy to set the Time Zone back to my local timezone (Americas/Denver) by going to 'admin/config/regional/settings'.

I've run the migration process several times on this particular site, and this is repeatable. I don't see any errors related to this in the error logs.

I'm running the migration process using MAMP 3.5 on a Mac OS X 10.10 system, and MAMP is using PHP 5.6.10 and MySQL 5.5.42.

More than a little late, I know - but, what was the timezone set to on your D6 site (same question for anyone else who might have seen this)?
