Currently all the field available in user account setting is listed under 'PATTERN ELEMENTS'.

In that case user will get a pattern for

[field_user_image]
[field_user_file]
[field_user_ref]

module is working as per expectation.
listing only integer and text field and validating pattern field even if admin tries to use any other field e.g: image , file, term reference etc.
