I would like to be maintainer of this project. I use it on one of my sites, and I would like to make little changes to the code (such as fixing little bugs or make small changes to the information returned in admin/reports/status). Eventually, I would make a 7.x-2 version that uses the apcu_*() functions.

Nevermind. I will make my own module. There are parts of the module that should be fixed, and I don't know how to fix them, at the moment.
