I would like to suggest a patch against jQuery Update version 7.x-3.0-alpha2 to update jQuery Migrate to its latest version to date: https://blog.jquery.com/2016/01/13/jquery-migrate-1-3-0-released/

Patch contain jquery_migrate 1.4.1 and 3.0.0. and the option to select between jQuery migrate 1.4.1 and 3.0.0.

The above patch removes jQuery Migrate 1.2.1 entirely. I'd rather we just add the newer minor (1.4) and major (3.0) versions here as we don't want to break existing sites.

Meh, after doing a little reading it should be fine to replace 1.2.x with 1.4.x.
