Create a Color product attribute.
Add an image field.
Go to List values.
Select an image to upload, it will spin, and then nothing. Plus, there's no explicit Upload button for some reason (might be intentinal)?

Looks like this is an IEF bug: #2691727: Image upload broken (> alpha5).

Yes, I was looking at this last night and it seems it is a problem in inline_entity_form. The classes in commerce module just render an inline entity form, so the handling should be made by inline_entity_form module.

I fixed the issue for IEF widgets, but image fields are still broken on this page (and in the IEF form element in general).
Opened #2701415: Image upload broken in the IEF form element to track it.

Looks like a core bug in the interaction between table and file form elements. Avoided with #input => FALSE (which needs to be TRUE only if the table uses tableselect and actually acts as a form element, we're using it just for visual grouping).
