Custom tokens added to a menu path make the menu item disappear from the menu.
This could be related to a but in Menu Token requiring an absolute path (https://www.drupal.org/node/1117760)
In my case, that is the exact use case I'm using Custom tokens for (add an full site root url as a token instead of site-url which includes the language code and therefor is unusable for custom language switching menu items).

Similar issue occured in my d7 website.
Menus using tokens created with menu token module is now missing in the website. I am able to create new menus and these menus are visible in the website.
Any suggestioin will be helpful.
