This is the roadmap for the migration of this module to Drupal 8 version.
The architecture is basically the same, moving functions to classes in order to unleash Drupal 8 power.

Hi, very welcome.
I am in the process of rewriting the modules from scratch to Drupal 8.
It is much easy to do for D8 than what it was for D7.
The processes are almost the same, but some changes on entities definitions are planned to allow more flexibility to widen the sports scope.
I compromise to move my local repository to github, write basic documentacion and create tasks so you can help where you feel more confortable to.

Hi haturay, any progress on this module migration to drupal 8? I had love to inhibit this on my drupal 8 website.

Hi Haturay. I'm interested in your league module. Is there a way for me to contribute? Thanks!

Hello Haturay. I see that another sports league is in development (sports league). Maybe you could team up to save time? What do you think? https://www.drupal.org/project/sports_league.

@btriest, the module you mention is based on nodes, not close to unleash D8 power.
Unfortanedly I haven't have the time to finalize the module, but entities are already defined and most procedures.
Need a month or less to launch first beta and start receiving contributions.

@hatuhay. Ok. Thanks for the quick response. I will wait until beta and help out when needed :)

Hello and thanks fpr your comments.
Github repo in located on https://github.com/dfgroup/league
Anyone interested in contribution let me know to coordinate access to the repo.
I am not much involved on Drupal for the moment, so extra hands are needed.
The entities are already defined, what is needed know is to generate the methods to transform matches into statistics.
