I've finished with the initial port of this module on https://github.com/legovaer/jenkinsapi. Feel free to review & migrate to the official Drupal repository.
The only remaining task is porting the Rules integration. But at this point in time, there isn't a stable release of this module.

@legovaer thanks for your work on this. I will take a look at it in the coming couple of weeks and merge it if it looks good. Are you interested in comaintaining the module?

Any updates here? I'm lightly considering using this module for a D8 site to be able to interact with some Jenkins jobs, but sadly won't be able to devote much time to helping with the port / validation.

Nothing from my end unfortunately. I might be actually working on this again as a side project as of next week.
