Just getting started with OL3. im using libraries_CDN with ol3 3.13.1 selected.
To get started I've created a content type "location" with a single geofield. I get a white screen when I select the OpenLayers map input widget and edit the field (url. http://mysite.com/admin/structure/types/manage/mapped-location/fields/fi...). If I try to create new content with the geofield widget set to openlayers I get a white screen: no javascript errors. no log errors.
if i change the edit form geofield widget to latitude/longitude i can enter values on the node form and see a map on the node view, but the position is not displayed only the map. no errors, no alerts, etc.
as the installation of OL3 is rather large and there is no error result, I have no idea whats gone wrong. My site status report is as follows.

GeoPHP is a open-source native PHP library for doing geometry operations. It is written entirely in PHP and can therefore run on shared hosts. It can read and write a wide variety of formats: WKT (including EWKT), WKB (including EWKB), GeoJSON, KML, GPX, GeoRSS). It works with all Simple-Feature geometries (Point, LineString, Polygon, GeometryCollection etc.) and can be used to get centroids, bounding-boxes, area, and a wide variety of other useful information.

geek-merlinMaybe it's connected with this from my log:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function openlayers_preset_load() in /var/www/virtual/clsysdev/html/live/docroot/sites/all/modules/geofield/geofield.formatters.inc on line 405Also adding #2673268: using openlayers_3 form widget on geofield = white screen. as related.
