Related Issue?

I spenat several hours redirecting links after porting a drupal 6 site over to drupal 7. The old site had been imported from a standard html site and so had a lot of links to html pages in the files uploaded area.

Anyway, I log on last night and find in top 404 pages a lot of links to pages that I had redirected. So apparently the function is not working properly...

This issue may be related to the link above... Here is the situation. I ported the drupal 6 over to a new server/host using an IP address as the install. When I am on the site using my IP URL I can see and edit broken links in the report. When I am logged in as the admin using the domain name URL, it says I don't have permissions to see the report or update the links. I tried creating another admin with privileges but it doesn't work for it either.

I have changed settings.php to the base_URL for the domain name, but then I cannot modify the links either as domain admin or IP address admin...

I think something is deeply amiss in the DB?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Status: Active » Closed (outdated)

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.

If the issue remains relevant for D8.8+ versions, merge requests with proposed solutions for a new module version (D10) are welcome in a new follow-up issue.

Thanks!
