This module has been namespaced differently than the project name without the underscore. This is confusing when installing the module for the first time as it prevents drush from being able to enable it using the project name. It also causes other quirks such as no results in the module list when using the module filter and typing in "simple_sitemap".

As noted here, I believe there is no way of implementing this change without users having to reinstall the module. This is why this won't be fixed until (if) a compatibility break becomes necessary and a new major 2.x version of the module gets released.

If anyone knows a way of making this change while staying on version 1.x of the module (keeping the module data), please share.
