I've just installed this for a client and so far it looks great. Thanks!

Would it be possible to have categories or tags for all items (Messages, Text Documents, etc.) so we could tag things separately from Groups?

Similarly, would it be possible to implement headings for messages, similar to Forums?

If I used Taxonomy to add my own categories, would that break if I updated to a newer version of OpenLucius?

Thanks!

Kristi

Hi Kristi,

Thanks for the compliments, we appreciate it!
As for your request, we'll place it in the backlog for maybe a future release.

You can add taxonomy by yourself, if you do it right it won't break on future updates.
But always make backups and know how to use feature.

Any questions, please let me know.

Categories/tags would be desireable to many place such as messages or text documents etc
care to give an overview how it can be implemented by ourselves in such a way as not to break future updates ?

if one wanted to present for example messages grouped by category would need to modify the view (I believe) that handles the display of messages list ... wouldn't that break on the next update to openlucius ?

It does not look like you answer the last question
I understand you are busy for the next realease but then question goes burried and will never be answered

Just answer when you can

if one wanted to present for example messages grouped by category would need to modify the view (I believe) that handles the display of messages list ... wouldn't that break on the next update to openlucius ?

Hi Giorgos,

Unfortunately we can't answer this, because then we'll just have to build it.
And it's not that high in our backlog yet, sorry.

Keeping this open as feature request.

7.x is not supported anymore. OpenLucius 2.0 (Drupal 9) is now actively maintained.
So I'm closing this 7.x ticket.
