Good Idea!

What do yuo think about the implementing not blkock but a page (module) where the hits should be bey dates: for example :

Hours:
13.00 - 14.00 xxx hits
14.00 - 15.00 yyy hits

Days:
3 Jula yyy hits
4 July xxx hits

Drupal dose not have such a statistics module to know, how much people where watching site yesterday, last month etc.

Thanks! I'm spread pretty thin right now, but when I have time I'll look into a page version of the trends. And if I have time, I'd love to graph the recent history...

I've installed new edition with graphs. Looking nice, but this is "too big" for a block, which has to be on the right or left side. Couldn't be so, that the statistics without graphs could be in the block. And there is a separate page with full=graph statistics?

It would be a much more mpressive.

I will, when I have time, implement a page view for the trends data. In the meantime, if the block width is too much on your site, you do have the options of:

  • Turning off the "Graph" option to get the hit numbers in a tabular format
  • Reducing the default periods to display
  • Overriding the settings in statistics_trends.css (e.g., maybe setting the bar and foreground widths to 0.25em) to make the graph narrower.
