Production outage: No, but the change may be rolled out incrementally across projects
Change affects: drupal.org projects and automated testing
Deployment schedule: Week of 2015-12-14
Backout plan: Fix in place, or re-enable legacy testing if necessary.
During the week of December 7th, we will be disabling the qa.drupal.org testbots for Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 projects, and statically archiving qa.drupal.org. We will then enable the equiavlent tests for Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 projects in DrupalCI.
Ongoing testing for Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 projects will be provided through DrupalCI, and can be configured on the Automated Testing tab of your Drupal.org project page. You can find documentation for enabling DrupalCI here:
https://www.drupal.org/node/2538838
If you have questions or concerns, or would like to open follow up issues, please post here:
https://www.drupal.org/node/2534132
We encourage module maintainers to test against the default PHP/MySQL environment of your related core version, and not to enable additional testing environments except when needed.
